About

WomenCAN Australia is a charity that assists women to re- connect with the work force. We do this by helping women build confidence, connections and work capability. Our program, The Placement Circle, guides women through peer supported vocational training and onto place based jobs. We also run a Facility Maintenance Program, where tradeswomen, cleaners and gardeners deliver services by women for women. Our program, The Placement Circle (TPC), supports women to build their confidence, their connections and their work capability. We do this by taking communities of women through vocational training and into employment within a peer supported framework. When women are confident, have skills to gain employment and connections to find a job, they can work toward creating financial independence.
