APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN City of Greater Bendigo Positive Ageing Advisory Committee The City of Greater Bendigo is looking for older adults interested in joining its Positive Ageing Advisory Committee (PAAC). The PAAC is an advisory group to the City that provides feedback and advice on matters of concern or interest related to positive ageing. The Committee increases opportunities for local older adults to participate in and contribute to activities, advocate for the improvement of physical and mental wellbeing of Bendigo's older adults and integrate the needs and interests of older adults into relevant City plans and projects. Members will need to demonstrate their ability to represent the views and needs of older adults at regular committee meetings and contribute to positive ageing in the community. There are six positions open for community members representatives from groups and organisations that support older adults. Positions are for a two-year term. Applications are now open and interested community members can submit an online expression of interest to join the Committee. Forms can be found at www.bendigo.vic.gov.au/positiveageing.
